NBA title. Seriously, in the grand scheme of things
that are least likely to happen, isn't Doc Rivers
outwitting The Zen Master even less likely than say
an Adam Sandler movie that doesn't include all his
friends? Or a Will Farrell sports movie that doesn't
suck? Or Kevin Garnett
AND Ray Allen collectively ridding their career-long
sphincter tightus in the SAME SERIES???! I mean,
I may have to start rationing food and water. Yikes!

Feeling Drafty

The event is a local fan-friendly event with teams from Arizona, Nevada,
Southern California area with some decent players who are trying to make their
mark.

Jordan Brand All-Star Classic
NEW YORK – Brandon Jennings is always on
a mission. Not just to show and prove that the Left Side is just as
nice as the more publicized East Coast but also to put on a show for
the paying public every time he makes his way out to New York. And
indeed it was Jennings who put on the best show, as he led his squad
to a 124-114 win in the Brand Jordan All-Star Classic, Saturday, at
Madison Square Garden.

One with Derrick Favors
The
Basketball Beat was out at Pauley Pavillion on the campus of UCLA and
got to speak with Derrick Favors from South Atlanta, HS in Atlanta, GA
who is considered as the top Junior in the nation. Favors was getting
prepared to go up against Jrue Holiday's Campbell Hall HS who is going
to UCLA next fall in the Pangos Dream Classic.
